How I got here
The customer
I should’ve gotten.

At 16 I ran a small lawn and pressure-washing business. I’d just formed my LLC, and every customer I had came from knocking on a door.
One day I was mowing a yard when the neighbor came outside, looked at my beat-up truck, took a picture of it and left. Turns out they wanted to hire me for the summer, roughly an $800-a-month customer. But my customer didn’t have my number, and the neighbor left town for about three months. I never got a shot at it.
My work had already made the sale. There was just no way to get from “that guy does good work” to “I want to hire him.”
So I took the basic coding I’d picked up making Minecraft mods and built a simple path: see the truck, find me, see my work, ask for an estimate. A QR code went on the truck. Eventually a stranger booked an estimate, with photos and measurements in the first message.
That’s still what I build: the path from seeing good work to hiring it.

I built Connor’s handyman website in a day. When he called to tell me he’d landed a $4,000 job through it, he was fired up. So was I.
Watching someone get real work from something I helped build? That’s a great feeling. I love seeing that excitement when a business starts finding its feet.
It’s why I keep making room for this work.

I work whitewater professionally, teach snowboarding, and hike whenever I can. Outdoors and travel are a big part of my life.
I grew up in Pensacola. I get away every chance I get, but it’s always been home base.
